"When I was a teenager growing up in Bay St Louis on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we used to go down the ocean after school some afternoons and catch blue crab, oysters, flounder, and redfish to take home for supper. The delicious fresh seafood meals my Grandmother made those nights engendered a dream to someday open my own restaurant. After decades tapping my entrepreneurial spirit in building, growing and selling my health care business, I was finally in a position to realize that dream.

Nix at the Beach is Pleasure Island's fine dining establishment in a casual setting. Here, we hope to balance a beach vacation atmosphere with world-class cuisine. Our extensive array of bounteous offerings boast fresh ingredients, including seasonal local seafood, fresh cut, aged beef, and one of the most extensive wine lists from Pensacola to Mobile. We're so hooked on fresh ingredients that we offer new special dishes every day!
